When she steps out of the therapy room, she nurtures vibrant experiences that feed her spirit and fuel her passion for life. Nature is Amanda's place of restoration. Whether navigating winding hiking trails, nurturing her lush garden, or speeding down rugged mountain biking trails, she finds herself grounded and invigorated by the great outdoors. But perhaps her favorite moments are those spent gathered around an outdoor dinner table with her cherished family, filling the evening with laughter and love. Creativity has always been a main pursuit, from watercolor painting, soulful melodies on guitar, or the intricate work of needlecraft, she finds expression and release in her artistic endeavors.
Family is at the heart of Amanda's world, alongside her three wonderful teenagers, three loyal dogs, two affectionate cats, and her amazing fiancé. Together, they form a tight-knit unit of support, encouragement, and shared adventures. Her fiancé, also working in behavioral health, provides a constant source of inspiration, challenge, and growth, enriching their journey together.
Growing up in a multicultural Air Force family, Amanda's childhood was marked by diversity and change.
