Courtney brings 5 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with mental health concerns in primary care practices, university clinics, and community mental health settings.
Courtney is experienced in providing ACT, CBT, and ERP treatment modalities to individuals ages 5 and up. She enjoys treating all subtypes of OCD but especially is passionate about treating Relationship OCD (ROCD), Harm OCD, Emetophobia, Scrupulosity, and Just right/ Perfectionism OCD. She finds working with clients with co-occurring BFRB conditions like hair pulling and skin picking with the ComB model to also be very rewarding. Additionally, she is certified in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and is able to treat tics and Tourette's Syndrome in children, teens, and adults.
Courtney brings authenticity, empathy, acceptance, and humor to her therapeutic approach. She has experience providing DBT distress tolerance techniques that are vital to healing OCD, co-occurring depression, and other anxiety concerns. Courtney is passionate about helping clients with anxiety disorders and OCD manage their reactions to intrusive thoughts and compulsions. Developing trust, learning new skills, and feeling empowered are crucial for feeling unstuck. She believes all individuals deserve respect and compassion as they make helpful changes in their lives.
